Renowned Jain spiritual leader, Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj, peacefully departed from this mortal coil on the sacred grounds of Chandragiri mountain. His serene passing occurred in Chandragiri, Dongargarh, nestled within the Rajnandgaon district, around 2:30 in the early hours.
Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, revered globally for his wisdom, drew his last breath in Chandragiri, Dongargarh. His departure, noted late on a Saturday night, marked the end of a luminous spiritual journey. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joined countless others in mourning the loss of Acharya Shri 108 Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj.
Born in Sadalga village of Belgaum, Karnataka, on the auspicious day of Sharad Purnima, October 10, 1946, Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj radiated spiritual guidance throughout his life. His legacy extends beyond his mortal existence, evident in the profound impact he had on countless lives. His recent recognition as the "God of the Universe" by the Guinness World Records on February 11, celebrated his exceptional contributions to humanity.
The reverence for Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj transcends boundaries. His parents, too, embraced his teachings, attaining Samadhi through his guidance. Fondly known as "Chhote Baba" in Bundelkhand, he left an indelible mark by establishing the grand temple of Bade Baba Adinath Bhagwan in Kundalpur, Damoh district, resembling the magnificence of Akshardham.
